Tonight’s program focuses on the sonic cartography of Los Angeles, presenting an aural representation of three dimensional mapping data downloaded from the County of Los Angeles Enterprise Graphical Information System data portal.

Featuring the sonic perceptualization of data from maps of the county storm drain system, pipelines and aqueducts, crime data, zoning, DWP infrastructure, arial imagery, tax rate polygons, highways and scenic drives, earthquake faults, fire hydrants, manhole covers, the location of every tree in LA County parks, and more!
